MORE THAN A MILLION PASSENGERS ARE EXPECTED IN TLV AIRPORT DURING PASSOVER
Israel continues to recover and prepares for the opening of the “flight season” on the upcoming holiday; Israel national airport is being filled with passengers coming from abroad or taking off for a vacation overseas. The Airports Authority and the management of the National Airport Authority of Israel are preparing for the increased passenger traffic during the Passover holiday. “Although the fighting in Gaza and the northern border still continues, the Ministry of Transportation is resolutely promoting the return to normal air traffic to and from Israel”, said the Minister of Transportation.
TEL-AVIV MUSEUM IS RANKED AMONG THE TOP 100 MOST POPULAR ART MUSEUMS IN THE WORLD
The Tel-Aviv Museum ranked 75th on the list of the 100 most popular art museums in the world with the highest number of visitors in 2023 the 6th year of inclusion in the prestigious list. The annual ranking published in the international art magazine The Art Newspaper includes the number of visitors to museums all over the world. In the challenging year of 2023, the Tel-Aviv Museum welcomed a staggering nearly one million visitors – 906,350 in total. This remarkable turnout places it among world-renowned institutions such as the Guggenheim, MoMA, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the British Museum, and Tate Modern in London. At the pinnacle of the rankings stand the Vatican and the Louvre Museum in Paris, boasting the highest number of visitors globally.
ISRAEL IS THE FIFTH HAPPIEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD
The World Happiness Report: Israel is almost happy as Scandinavia countries, and people love to smile.
The report draws on global survey data from people in more than 140 countries. Countries are ranked on happiness based on their average life evaluations over the three preceding years, in this case 2021 to 2023. The report is a partnership of Gallup, the Oxford Wellbeing Research Centre, the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and an editorial board. The report looks at six key variables to help explain life evaluations: GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom, generosity, and perceptions of corruption.
